I Saw It At Capsule: Menswear Picks From Your Style Girlfriend

The fine folks at We Are The Market asked me to pick my ten favorite pieces from this season’s Capsule Show, a trade event highlighting the latest and greatest collections from designers around the world.

A tough assignment, since I saw a ton of stuff I loved and want to see every guy wearing right this very second. That said, some of the clothes were a little trendier – and a little more high-end (cough*expensive*cough) than what I think you guys would actually wear (crazy multi-colored woven shorts suit, I’m looking at you. Yes, you were beautiful, but not so…day-to-day, ifyaknaawhatimean).

So I edited my picks to those items that would get a “yes” to the question, “WWAW?”

…Sorry, you don’t have a bracelet with those letters embroidered on it? For those of you not in the know, that’s, “What Would Aaron Wear?”

Aaron, being my older brother who lives in Wisconsin and works in a business-casual office environment. He’s my go-to barometer for what a guy who wants to look good without spending a ton would actually buy and wear. Meaning he’s looking for stylish clothes, but not ones that are too fashion-y. Good quality, but not crazy expensive. Meaning the rad-but-ridiculous leopard-print swim trunks that cost $300 didn’t make the cut.
