Outfit of the Day: Taylor Kitsch, Movie Star

While Hollywood has yet to lure me into theaters with any of its blow ‘em up/superhero/unnecessary sequel/etc offerings this season, I’ve been more than happy to watch their leading men in interviews promoting said-summer popcorn flicks. So that’s a start, right? RDJ was one. Taylor Kitsch is another.

Appearing in the so-poorly-performing-I-can’t-even-make-fun-of-it John Carter, and now the I’ve-heard-it’s-actually-not-terrible-but-I’m-still-never-going-to-see-it Battleship, Kitsch has been making the talk show circuit rounds for the past several months. I don’t think I’m alone when I say the former Friday Night Lights fullback’s return to the small screen has been a very welcome one.

On his way to Jimmy Fallon, above, he goes simple but super-stylish in a blue-gray suit and shirt in a similar, darker shade, rakishly open at the collar. He is a man’s man and I want to take him home and hear him call my mother by her last name and then put his hand on my thigh at the dinner table.

WHAT. What. We’re all friends here. I’m just saying. hubba zubba mama likey.

Texas Forever.
