Bag The Best Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker
12 Days of SG Faves: Bose
“Wouldn’t it be cool,” we asked ourselves one day, “to just give away a bunch of stuff we liked this year?” Yes, we decided. It would be cool. So here we are! Counting down the 12 Days of SG Faves with giveaways that’ll make your heads fly off. Just our way of saying ‘Happy Holidays’ from Team SG.
WHAT YOU’LL WIN
Music is important. Podcasts are important. And while most of the time you can enjoy these little pleasures of life from the comfort of your own home, or your own earbuds, sometimes you need something…in the middle. That’s why we’re giving one lucky follower *two* SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speakers. One for you, one to give someone you love. Or like. At least like. It’s the last day, so you know we had to whip out something a l’il special for you!
Though the SoundLink Micro speaker may be small, it is mighty. Every detail of this (tiny) bad boy—from the custom-designed transducer to the silicone passive radiators—was crafted to reproduce sound that’s better than any speaker of its size. Rugged and waterproof, it features a tear-resistant silicone strap—so you can take it along wherever you go. And with an exterior made of silicone rubber, it’ll hold up to dents, scratches, and cracks. Not saying you should drop it, but if you do, it’ll survive..even if you drop it in a pool. Or the ocean! No need to panic. Just pull it out and hit play.
Oh, and if you do gift the second Micro to a loved one, you can use the Bose Connect app to connect two speakers in Party Mode, or switch to Stereo Mode, separating instruments and vocals—making your music feel alive.
WHY WE LOVE BOSE
I’ve been obsessed with Bose since installing one of their wireless speakers in my apartment. Okay, “installing” might be too strong a term, since all I really had to do was plug it into the wall and figure out how to get it connected to the wifi, but it feels like a bigger job because the output was so great! Granted, I live in a tiny NYC apartment, so just one speaker fills my whole home, but it really did amaze me what a difference it made in sound quality, up from my tinny laptop speakers.
Now with the SoundLink Micro, they’re untethering the Bose sound experience from your home. Bring it with you camping, or to the beach (it’s waterproof, remember?!), or …I don’t know, to your own private Walden pond, where you really want to get away from the world, but also really want to bump Rihanna. I get it.
