Usually, I stare at men’s clothes through a computer screen. Last week, I got up close and personal with them.
Trade shows used to be strictly B2B – buyers come in and order up wares from sellers. But as part of PROJECT New York’s menswear blogger contingent, called #bloggerPROJECT, a few of us menswear nerds got to stop by and geek out over cool new brands and take a peek at what’s in store for fall.
Even better than geeking out? Playing dress-up.
The very talented Eli handled the styling of the clothes in the shots above. The clothes are Bill Tornade, with Eli’s impressive skills taking a men’s suit and making it look ready for my body. The too-cool-for-school sunglasses are Linda Farrow. Behind the camera stood my new bud Thierry.
Trying on the tailored suit, especially, got me excited for fall clothes. The weather here in NYC has been just cool enough to make me envision a day where pants and a long-sleeve shirt won’t make me immediately drop five pounds in summer sweat just walking to the subway.
What are you most looking forward to wearing this fall?
