Round 2 of 2016 Men's Style Madness: 2nd Heat
#SGMadness is heating up
Voting is simple: No logging in, and all match-ups are below. Just give it a quick scroll to vote for this year’s Most Stylish Man.
Calvin Harris vs. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
It was a close race between Calvin Harris and Adam Driver in Round One, but Harris (as presumably his Swift Squad cheering him on) took the win for his well-rounded style that’s not too flashy yet visually interesting.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau took the lead early on and certainly didn’t slow down. We thought Wiz (and his cool pants) would put up a bigger fight, but you guys definitely preferred his tailored approach to dapper suiting.
…Calvin or Coster-Waldau?
Jon Hamm vs. Justin Theroux
Hamm-town is on fire. Yes, we did just throw a new nickname his way. He held his own against the attention-grabbing style of Russell Westbrook and continues to show us how much heavy lifting his rugged-meets-refined wardrobe does.
Justin Theroux versus Sam Smith in the first round was definitely a tricky match-up and we have to say…we were pretty surprised that Theroux dominated. The votes have spoken: his perfected edgy style edges out even the most sartorially inspired.
…Jon or Justin?
The Weeknd vs. Michael B. Jordan
The Weeknd, his soulful sound, and slick outerwear slid their way into Round 2 over Antonio Brown’s spotlight-stealing style – and we totally get it. The Weeknd’s street wear vibes alongside his simple red carpet suiting is an impressive mix.
Michael B. Jordan
…And this match-up got difficult in a hurry. This Creed star’s style has become increasingly polished yet completely on-trend without being dated. It’s a hard balance to achieve.
…The Weeknd or MBJ?
Andy Samberg vs. Pharrell
Oof…poor Taylor who had A$AP going all the way. We’re still trying to wrap our heads around the blowout between Andy and A$AP, though we do have to commend Andy’s style evolution and recent suiting successes.
The votes have spoken – and it looks like you guys prefer Pharrell’s hat game over James Bay’s. At SG HQ, we’re longtime fans of Pharrell because of his style risks that almost always pay off.
