Florida-based style that's more than a surf brand

By Brittany Hammonds | Sep 11 2015

On what we can safely assume was hot and humid day in Florida, four lifelong friends took a break from (allegedly) regulating surf lineups to use their retail pasts and start their own surf lifestyle clothing company. Fast forward to Duvin Design Company in surf shops and street style shots showcasing the unique aesthetic of the guy who’s living in the name of radness.

Who it’s for: If mega soft materials, standout prints, and utilitarian extras (sunglass keepers on tank tops, anyone?) are your thing – this is the never ending vacation vibe for you.

Why we love it: An intentionally styled look that reads, “everything little thing’s gonna be alright,” shows you’ve mastered prints, and that you’re not afraid to conquer the color wheel.

Don’t miss:

Killer tee, $35 | Ruby tee, $36

Wear it well: You can’t go wrong with a small sharks in a subtle repeating pattern or a staple striped tee. Layer these under your denim shirt or favorite bomber jacket for an effortlessly cool fall look.

Flowerbed shirt, $72 | Howler shirt, $68

Wear it well: By now you know our affinity for floral prints and bold patterns (yes, those are tiny wolves and cacti). Wear these under your crew neck melange sweater or your favorite cardigan to be like Spicoli’s dapper alter ego with all of the relaxed flair.

Arrow hat, $36 | Avenue short, $68

Wear it well: If you’re holding onto the last remaining warm days and weekend getaways, seize the opportunity to ditch muted fall tones and don bright colors.

Tell me:

How would you incorporate these prints, patterns, and pastels into your wardrobe?
