Score A Subscription for Personal Training on your Phone
“Wouldn’t it be cool,” we asked ourselves one day, “to just give away a bunch of stuff we liked this year?” Yes, we decided. It would be cool. So here we are! Counting down the 12 Days of SG Faves with giveaways that’ll make your heads fly off. Just our way of saying ‘Happy Holidays’ from Team SG.
WHAT YOU’LL WIN
We’re giving away seven 6-month subscriptions to Aaptiv, my favorite fitness app ever since they sponsored the SG Undressed podcast earlier in the year (anyone else miss the pod? we’ve gotta get a jump on that in the new year…).
At $99.99 for a year, this thing is a steal and a half, considering that one month at a traditional gym can run you…well, more than that. Access pro-level, guided workouts on your phone anytime, anywhere with Aaptiv.
WHY WE LOVE AAPTIV
Much like writing, I love having worked out…not always the working out-in-progress part. It can be hard to get myself jazzed about breaking a sweat. Teachers and trainers are great, but I don’t want to pay for classes all the time, let alone expensive one-on-one in-person sessions.
Aaptiv puts a trainer right in my earbuds, motivating me with expert guidance, all to a current, non-Muzak playlist. And I love that I can filter through the hundreds of workouts to find one that I actually want to do (for me, that’s usually intermediate to advanced strength training, 30-35 minutes, 90’s pop playlist). There’s plenty more to choose from, though, with current class offerings that include outdoor and treadmill runs, elliptical, indoor cycling, yoga, and race training programs. It’s a fresh way to work out without hiring a trainer or taking an actual class with, y’know, other people. Ugh, I know, right?
HOW TO ENTER
Competition’s getting tight, though! Only seven winners today!
It’s all good, though. You can tag friends for more chances to win.
But you only have 24 hours to enter, so get to it! We’ll DM winners (US residents only!) once the window for entry has closed, so be on the lookout.
Good luck, and happy holidays from team SG!
