CONTENT MANAGER
We’re looking for a smart, enthusiastic, and extremely online content manager to shape coverage across Style Girlfriend – including web, social, and branded.
The ideal candidate combines an editorial and/or marketing background with an affinity for men’s style and self-improvement.
You’ll drive the day-to-day editorial output and social messaging of Style Girlfriend, telling strong, cohesive stories across all user touchpoints.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate closely with the editorial director and marketing manager to build a targeted, cross-channel content strategy
- Develop and own editorial and social media calendars that drive the company’s marketing goals; including new user acquisition, customer loyalty, and overall community engagement
- Create and update SEO-friendly blog posts, write social media copy, and advise on branded content projects
- Brainstorm and develop content ideas for key cultural moments
- Use Canva to create graphics for site and social media
- Experiment with content type, using metrics and reporting to inform work
Who you are:
- 2+ years working experience as a content manager, web editor or similar role in online publishing or content creation
- Expertise with WordPress
- Strong skills as an editor, tightening and crafting copy
- Interest in and knowledge of the men’s lifestyle industry and its vernacular
- Proven skills at producing content for a digital audience
- Familiarity with affiliate platforms including Shopstyle and LTK (formerly RewardStyle)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Comfortable using Google Analytics and other audience data and engagement tools
- A solid understanding of the importance of brand voice and an eye for high-quality content

SPRING 2025 DIGITAL INTERN
Style Girlfriend is looking for an intern for the Spring 2025 semester who wants to help men dress, date, and live with more style.
The ideal candidate is a voracious consumer of lifestyle, and culture publications, and an enthusiastic (some might say, obsessed) user of social platforms. We’re a small team, and the right student will have opportunities to participate in every area of the company and grow their role during their time with Style Girlfriend.
Who You Are:
An energetic and hard-working student with a strong interest in media. Available virtually 10-15 hours per week.
What You’ll Do:
- Support our editorial needs with product curation and article scheduling in Wordpress.
- Ensure all content is SEO-friendly.
- Help the social media and audience development teams create content for platforms including Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, and email.
- Additional responsibilities as available and qualified.
What You’ll Get:
- School credit and a monthly stipend
- Valuable experience with the in’s and out’s of a media company
