Guys, it’s summer, and that means it’s time to cool down with some hot shades.
And what better way than with some of-the-moment mirrored sunglasses?
You guys know I’m not usually one to suggest you hop aboard the trend wagon, but I’ve been seeing mirrored sunglasses everywhere lately, and I really, really like the look on guys.
They feel like a bit of a throwback to the 90s…the lenses’ bright colors bringing up memories of Hyper Color t-shirts, pledging allegiance to your favorite Ninja Turtle (obviously my love of orange stems from an early crush on Michelangelo), and friendship bracelets…but somehow, these shades come off feeling totally modern and hip.
My favorite style on guys in these bright sunglasses is a Wayfarer; the classic frame grounds the otherwise crazy colors of the lenses. Just make sure the rest of your outfit is well put-together when you wear these. Because the neon colors call to mind an older era, you want to make sure you don’t look like you just pulled them out of a garage sale “Everything’s $.25 cents” box.
