Colin Hunter started Alton Lane with a fellow UV grad back in 2009. Their goal? Bring modern bespoke suiting to the masses.

Now, the company’s showrooms across the country are shuttered, with the team working from home, and stylists offering virtual consults to their clients.

So, what does a MTM menswear founder wear while WFH? Turns out, you can pull together casual men’s spring outfits from a closet full of tailored pieces.

Check out Hunter’s stylish men’s spring fashion with a week full of self-quarantined style:

“Recently, I’ve been looking for comfort in my everyday wear – I’ve been living in our 5 pocket chinos. My white button-down is a concept shirt that I’ve been working on. It’s made from Italian Jersey t-shirt fabric, so it’s really soft but still presentable for video calls.

Since spring weather is super temperamental in Virginia, I love my Belstaff quilted vest for cooler mornings.”

“For days with just internal calls/meetings, I can go a little more casual. I love my Allbirds for wearing around the house – I have them in a few different colors.”

Chambray is a favorite of mine for spring/summer. The longer you have and wear it, the more comfortable it gets. I’ve been designing a bunch of cool new shoes too, so I’m using this time and season to wear-test a lot of them.”

“Even though I rarely have to wear blazers right now, I will still throw one on for certain virtual meetings and board updates. I love this fully deconstructed knit blazer- it is super comfortable, but still looks presentable.”
